Summer Family Garden Fair at Nakanojo Gardens
Nakanojo Gardens is holding a Summer Family Garden Fair, with a festival-style street fair and hands-on events.
Dates
- Fair: Saturday 25 July through Sunday 23 August 2026
- Children’s street fair: Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 August 2026 only, 10:00–15:00
During the fair, indoor activities are available in an air-conditioned room, including origami insects and plants, a giant sugoroku board game, kendama, and other nostalgic games.
Out in the gardens, visitors can enjoy a mystery-solving activity and kenkenpa (hopscotch) beneath a cooling mist spray.
The children’s street fair includes a mini shooting gallery, yo-yo fishing, small-creature scooping, and ring toss.
Please see the Nakanojo Gardens notice for details. If you are traveling to or from Ikaho Onsen, the gardens make a pleasant stop along the way.
