Cool air at Ikaho Forest Park
Hot days continue in Ikaho Onsen. When the heat stays, we recommend the wind caves at Prefectural Ikaho Forest Park.
There are several. The best known is Washino-su. Near the cave, a white coolness drifts in the air, and the chill comes through slowly. Onma-dani is another.
On a hot summer day, it is a place to feel cool air that comes from the ground. The park is about 15 minutes by car from Ryokan Omori. If you have a little extra time, do go.
