Misato Shibazakura Festival
It is a perfect day for an outing, and the grounds are busy with visitors. The shibazakura (moss phlox) carpet is at its peak and stands out against the blue sky. There are food and merchandise booths as well; you can enjoy them together with hanami.

- Dates: Thursday 9 April through Tuesday 5 May
- Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (admission until 3:30 p.m.)
- Admission: adults 310 yen, elementary-school children 100 yen, younger children free
