Lavender Festival at Lockheart Castle
Lockheart Castle, in Takayama Village — the next town over from Shibukawa — is holding the Lockheart Castle Lavender Festival 2026, for a limited time through 31 August 2026.
During the festival, the castle is transformed with lavender colors, flowers, fragrance, an umbrella sky, themed sweets, and hands-on activities designed to engage all five senses.
It is a romantic seasonal experience where the atmosphere of a British castle meets the world of lavender.
