Kawazu-zakura in Shirai are in full bloom
We returned to see the Kawazu-zakura in Shirai, Shibukawa, after a stop at Beisia Komochi. On this third visit, the trees were in full bloom.
Around 70 Kawazu-zakura cherry trees line the slope between the rear of Michi-no-eki Komochi on National Route 17 and Beisia Komochi.
- Location: near Michi-no-eki Komochi, Shirai, Shibukawa
- Access: about 15 minutes from Shibukawa-Ikaho IC on the Kan-etsu Expressway
- Parking: use the Michi-no-eki Komochi lot
- Admission: free
The cherry trees are easy to visit while stopping at Michi-no-eki Komochi, just off National Route 17.
