The 35th Haruna Ume Festival
Haruna Bairin is eastern Kanto’s leading ume-producing area. 120,000 plum trees come into bloom. An early spring waits in the grove, where the sweet scent of ume spreads.
- Bloom season: early March through late March
- Haruna Ume Festival: Sunday 15 March, from 9:30
- Place: Haruna Bunka Kaikan Ecole (1072-1 Kamisatomi-cho, Takasaki)
After the opening ceremony, various events are planned.
