Spring Fair at Ikaho Green Ranch
The Spring Fair at Ikaho Green Ranch begins on Friday, March 20.
Newborn lambs
New lambs are expected to arrive from around March 20 through May 6, with approximately 80 lambs anticipated this year. From March 20, ten ewe-and-lamb pairs are scheduled to be on view.
Lamb feeding experience (20 March–6 May)
- Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays: 12:00 and 14:00
- Weekdays: 12:00
- Fee: ¥1,000 per person
Times may change, or the program may be cancelled, depending on the lambs’ condition. Eight groups can take part in each session.
Easter Week
Friday 20 March through Sunday 5 April. An Easter-themed hunt featuring stuffed rabbits and Easter eggs is planned.
Cherry blossoms at the ranch
The grounds have 1,500 cherry trees in 19 varieties. They are typically at their best from mid-April through Golden Week. A later note is Yaezakura still blooming in Shibukawa.
Ikaho Green Ranch makes an easy stop on the way to or from Ikaho Onsen. Next door is a later note on the Hara Museum ARC Evening Architecture Light-up.
